Is Vieira on his way?

Seems strange that nothing's been said this close to the end of his contract. I guess we can presume and speculate a few things regarding his future then.

The club is starting to look shoddy and even a bit of a shambles. Maybe we have someone lined up as 1st team boss and they want to bring their number 2 with them?

I read that this morning and it just read like a lot of speculation....no substance to it whatsoever.

For all we know, they have agreed to sit down in the summer and discuss a first team roll!!

Yeah, that's all nothing but conjecture. We've just been knocked out of the CL, so the media is kicking us while we're down.

Vieira's not going anywhere and anyone who's been paying attention would know that his future is with us.

He was in Munich doing a 4 day assessment, now all of a sudden he's leaving and going to Bayern? WTF?

Exactly my point, Bluey. We're already down, so let's invent some stories to make things worse!

I know Leo....they must think the average readers are so gullible to believe their spin.

I'd really like Viera working with the first team though til the end of the season.

He would certainly help the MF and also the defenders with their positional sense.

I think the average reader IS actually that gullible, mate. Most of them haven't got the wits of a used tea bag.

I want to see Vieira with the first team as well. Maybe the fact his contract hasn't been renewed is because they're working on doing just that? Who knows? But he wasn't brought in just to manage the youth for a few years and then leave, that's for damn sure.

Nah.....he's even said it himself on numerous occasions. His role started out learning about everything behind the scenes, then he progressed to the youth academy and to ensure he got all of his badges and coaching certificates before a longer term plan is put in place.

Can you imagine, if the board, after all this time and effort, said "thanks, but goodbye"?

He's going nowhere but forwards with us. It's probably all in hand already, just not been made public yet.
