Wilshire & Henderson?

Personally can't see Henderson coming, as i think Loserpool see him as their new Captain for years to come....and he'll love that. Really hope Wilshire doesn't come, as i don't really rate him tbh, i'd much rather go for Barkley for the same money.
For some reason i can actually see Sterling being the first HG player we'll get....ah well.

That was from the current bun to start with (I think) and they said we were seriously after Pogba as well. If we got all three, then we can cover up the time Wilshere is injured using the other two. I'd rather get Barkley instead of him. Henderson is number one choice at Liverpool and may not be a shoe in for us. But money talks. £100k at the Pool or £150k with us?

IF, Henderson is No.1 choice at LFC and their future Captain, they will have to offer him a contract close to what Gerrard was on - £140k pw.

Therefore, we'd be having to offer quite a bit more than £150k pw.

LFC are at a turning point - they want BIG signings, but may not have CL and don't pay 'big' salaries. Their wage structure may have to change, which means, if they CAN offer their top players £150-180k pw, then that may be enough to convince the likes of Sterling and Henderson to stay - at least for another season.

If they don't get CL next season, I suspect that will change things, they may well move for less, just to be in the competition.

I just couldn't see Henderson leaving Liverpool if he is top man. He'd be just like Gerrard - 2 club man!

Possibly, or they could offer much higher wages to keep their best players - and convince them of the 'project'.

Henderson just doesn't strike me as the sort of guy to bail out on Liverpool. He might have been a bit pissed when he was offered £80k p/ when sicknote Sturridge is on £140k p/w and Sterling was offered £100k.

If they don't get CL and Sterling leaves, i wonder if that'll have any bearing on Henderson thinking about leaving......and slightly digressing from the HG players, would Coutinho consider his future too?

Liverpool will try and keep everyone they want to (Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho and Henderson). They may go down the route that they took with Suarez - one more season and you can go next year.

But, if clubs come in offering big money, they'll take it especially if the player's heads have been turned.

I can honestly see Sterling going - Henderson doesn't seem to be the type to have a dodgy agent or want £££.

The thing is - can LFC afford to sell 2 of their best players to a rival?

Maybe one, but two and especially young English players.

If they get Milner then then Releasing Henderson won't be as difficult, but do we really want him?
