Fee for Boateng £18.5M?

Meanwhile City have agreed a £18.5 million fee with Bayern Munich for the sale
of Jerome Boateng, while Shay Given is close to joining Aston Villa.

£18.5m, great price for someone who for one reason or another never really played.

not sure if it is just lazy journalism or we got that price.

would be a first for city to make a profit on a deal!

Truth seems to be we got BM's price of what we paid for him but then with add ons such as number of appearences, german national appearences and various marketing rights it should reach 18.5 million.

Which is income over a few years which should help the books again.
