But are UEFA trying to stop it now?

Yeah, read that earlier.
Where's that suddenly come from? It's by Stuart Brennan as well.

Stuart has been a bit piss poor with his articles of late.
I can see some of the 'big' European clubs still being worried by us. The Italian giants want FFP relaxed so they can spend more money 'invested' by their owners because of the PL tv deal blasting them away.
But the relaxation of the rules would enable City to dominate the transfer market for those players not set on Madrid or Barca. We could simply offer far more money on transfer fees and wages than anyone else with owner 'investment' and the Pl tv deal.
There could be a push to amend the rules so that we are punished further.
I think if UEFA tried that on, we would take them to court and wipe the floor with them. They can't keep artificially moving the goalposts to hamper us.
Who'd win in a fight between UEFA and the city owners? My money is firmly on City.

OK we are relaxing FFP but City and PSG have to maintain current spending restrictions until 2019. Fuck off you fucking corrupt tossers.
It really is time for 2 finger to FFP which I think is what the chairman is hinting at. I too get the feeling we almost challenged it last year but took the hit because this year we would be straight.
This really is making my blood boil.

If they restrict PSG and City for 3-4 years then the old 'big' teams have a chance to catch up. Moving those goalposts will make City challenge them because, if they don't, what will UEFA come up with in 2019 to stall us again?

City should threaten to take them to court and sue them claiming a very very hefty compensation package....i'm sure they'll back down quick smartish then.

Even the players know it's all made up to protect the "big teams".

I agree. I don't think there is any doubt, if UEFA now back-track on what they said they were going to do - and enforce it upon us and PSG....the club will definitely challenge this in court this time.
That will stall any judgement until well into 2016.
