I think we all know the rags are going to get Benfica, Olympiakos and Gent. They won't get past the group stages unless they get the pub teams and UEFA know this, having seen them score more goals in 45 minutes of CL football than they've scored in 270 minutes of PL.

I'll be surprised if we don't get Bayern!

Interesting article, especially their suggestion of the Group of Death being Bayern, Sevilla and Wolfsburg. Erm, maybe someone needs to explain the rules about teams from the same league not being in the same pot... Embarassed

I think it is about time we are due a relatively comfortable draw, but we won't get it no doubt. Got to admit I am sick of the sight of Bayern, Barca & CSKA Moscow so some different teams would be good for a change.

I think with the team we'll have this season, the way the likes of Barca, Bayern and Real have started the season, I'm not arsed about being drawn against any of them 3.

I've got high hopes for this season's CL. Semi-final maybe.

Of course, knowing City, we'll get an easy group a la United and Arsenal, then not get through! Razz

Not sure why we need to go through the group procedure for pot 1, surely just draw them in order from A to H as there's no clashes?
