Navas......
Just watched the highlights again...and how good a game did Navas have?
Yes, I know - his rounding of the keeper was 'pathetic', but he did so many very good things, just as well as KDB did.

Re: Navas......
Tbh, i think Navas gets harshly criticized. The fella i sat next to against Newcastle said as much too...he actually said he thought he'd been Citys player of the season so far.
I think we've just got to accept what you get from Navas, that's hard work for the team and low crosses from the wing. He isn't gonna get 10 goals a season, whether he should be doing is a different question.
That said, his rounding of the keeper and failure to tap it in with his left peg on Satdi was embarrassing.

Re: Navas......
I've certainly changed my overall opinion of him this season.
However, he 'should'...be getting at least 10 goals a season the amount of chances he gets.
I see KDB now has 3 goals and 3 assists in 5 games! He really improved the team, his passing is 99% of the time, spot on - and he was really unlucky not to add to that on Saturday.
He could be key against Sevilla and the rags - and if TLMLF decides to turn up this season, we could get 6 points this week!

I completely agree, but i think at the end of the season you'll find only Joe Hart's name below him in the goal scoring chartsblueboy wrote:However, he 'should'...be getting at least 10 goals a season the amount of chances he gets.

Re: Navas......
Joe will probably beat him. Lets face it that is twice now he has rounded the keeper with an open goal & missed some would say 3rd time lucky but do you really think he'll get a 3rd opportunity? That said, I am inclined to agree with what has been said in so much as you get what you get with Navas, yes he is infuriating but he does give us width & causes the opposition different problems.

Re: Navas......
To be fair to Navas, didn't Sergio do the same thing at Sunderland - round the keeper, open goal... turns inside and loses ball. Baffling.
I'm not excusing Navas - but perhaps his other open goal miss came back to haunt him and he just wanted to make sure. Maybe he'll learn.
Overall I like him, good team player, we looked balanced with him in there and we're starting to read his low cross into the near post tactic - I'm guessing they work on this in training. Or is that about as far as he can hit the ball...
Not entirely convinced by Bony, but good turn and finish for his second. Shame about the offside flag on Kelechi.

He'd have to work there all night. They would have to leave the lights on.
