Sorry to run this again, but now that we have Aguero, who else would you like us to sign?

My vote would be Sneidjer this summer and nasri in January on a pre-contract.

Another class CB, maybe.

Sneidjer - yes, but no. What I mean is he will demand £250k pw and that doesn't really solve the FFP ruling.

Nasri will command £150k pw, which is more realistic - and probably won't bring with him the circus that surrounds Sneidjer.

Another CB for me solves any lingering weakness we may have.

Is new signing Savic not a CB Dawg?

Can't see Sneidjer or Nasri coming tbh (either would be good additions though), but you just never know who RM's got in mind Shocked .

Savic is a CB, but he is young (20) and he looked a bit shaky against Galaxy and that 16 yo they have.

Sneijder is more likely to go to the Rags but I am still hopeful of getting Nasri before the start of the season

I think we need two, possibly three signings before the window shuts.

1) A goalkeeper to cover Hart, I'm a big fan of Cudacini but I think he's just signed a new contract with the Spuds so I'd go for Gordon or Sorenson, someone in that mould anyway.

2) A creative midfielder. Last season our midfield was stretched and tired when we were still in the Europa League, this season is only going to be longer and more tiring (here's hoping) and so far we have done nothing to strengthen our midfield. IMO we were one quality player short in our midfield last year, so we might as well bring one in now before the FFP rules take full effect. My perfect mid would be:

De Jong and Milner covering the back four, with Yaya in the middle of
our attacking midfielders, where he can switch with Milner throughout
the match. Nasri and Silva on either side of Yaya where they can switch
and keep the opposition guessing, also relieves some of the pressure off
everything creative we do coming through Silva.

3) I don't know what the crack with Savic is, is he brought in as an immediate partner for Kompany, or is he one for the future? If the latter, I think we need to bring in another CB because IMO Toure or Lescott will not be good enough when put up against the cream of Europe's very best strikers.

And that's it for me! Think we'd have enough quality and depth in the squad there, and hopefully we'll be much more settled over coming seasons. Still need to shift that deadwood though mind!
