On The Grandeur Scale of Things.....
JUST HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS SIGNING?
let's say - we have limitless amounts to spend on a forward. what are the options?
Messi - how much????????????????????????????? and never get him.
Ronaldo - after his scoring feats last season - £80+ and he is 27-28 and would he even come?
Apart from these two.................is there any other forward that we would be desperate to sign and at what cost?
Rooney? The guy is obviously class and gets goals............£50m+ as he is English - and again, would he move?
We have just signed a player that would probably get into ANY, and i mean ANY team in the world - he's 23 and he cost us £38m.
Now if that's not exciting - i don't know what is!
For me - the Robinho thing was exciting - but the dynamics of our club has changed massively in 18 months and cannot see Mancini going for 'names'.
This kid IS THE REAL DEAL.
Whoaah...........i am so happy for our fans to be able to have this kid.
Well done the board and Mancini - Tevez or no Tevez, this is the ideal signing IMO.
20+ goals in the PL i think will be no problem for a guy of his skill, calibre and technique.
This kid is going to take us to a level above what Tevez could have on his own.

ok - Wensdi - it was to be impartial in the post....otherwise, if we don't mention him.....we will have ONH saying that he is worth - blah, de blah etc etc etc.
Point duly taken.......
CAN WE NOW REFER TO ROONEY AS .........VOLDERMORT.......THE NAME NEVER SPOKEN?

i agree mr bigboobies. i am nearly as excited by this signing as i was for robinho's.
robbies was totally unbelievable whereas this wasn't totally out of the ordinary the way we have moved in the last two years.
