Disgusting scenes last night.

I wonder what the FA and PL will do about it? 10 point deduction?

Re: Disgusting scenes last night.
Neither side covered themselves in glory last night, but at least Chelsea's players tried to keep a lid on it. The spuds weren't playing football, some of their tackles were awful, they shouldn't have had 11 men on the pitch at the end of that game and all the pushing and shoving at the end of both halves was just pathetic.
Dock both teams 10 points for the altercations, and give Spurs another 5 points deduction for all the other crap. Go on FA, I dare you!

Points docked...c'mon fellas, we know that ain't gonna happen.
It'll be a meaningless fine and a warning about their future conduct at most

I think the points deduction was tongue-in-cheek.

What's the chance of the FA/PL actually deducting points? Slim to Zero...they can't even move a bloody game for us!!

L
Spuds were an absolute disgrace They were like children having a tantrum coz it wasn't goin their way Twattenberg lived up to his name Absolutely terrible performance from him He could have sent 2 Spuds off in the 1st half but he let everything go and things just got worse & worse Some of the challenges at the end were career ending reckless fouls and the Spuds from the manager down need to be heavily punished but I doubt they will

If you're late for a tackle, but genuine, then yellow card. But if you deliberately just scythe someone down then you should be off. Why do the FA equate such neanderthal play as the same offence as taking your shirt off or kicking the ball away???

Yeah, it was a bit. 10 points would get us into the CL for certain, but still leave the rags needing to win.blueboy wrote:I think the points deduction was tongue-in-cheek.
I know, I think it's bollocks as well. I even had an argument with about ten people on youtube (I know, I know!) about this very thing. The basis of the argument is that it brings the game into disrepute, but I fail to see how celebrating does this. I'd have thought celebrating the one action that has some significance should be encouraged as it's part of the game, but there you go.Topdawg wrote:If you're late for a tackle, but genuine, then yellow card.
