Re: City confident of no FIFA actions...
I heard there was contact with the club when the kid was 15yo, but we didn't sign him until he was 16yo. Since he has an Italian passport, gets round the U18 rule of not signing across borders.

Just because it is legal, does not make it right.
I thought our owners were quite strict on that sort of thing?

16yo is a bit young especially if the parents don't go.

Re: City confident of no FIFA actions...
Not sure they had a case...but again, it goes to show how careful all football clubs should be.
My 16yr olds friend is all over the paper again today....he's doing exceptionally well at LFC, but speaking to his mum the other day, she's really trying to keep a lid on things, as are the club. He's only a kid (16)...and some of the over-the-top coverage he's getting only adds pressure...but I think LFC and Klopp in particular, are doing a good job with their internal teams to reduce the impact on these kids 'normal' lives.
I don't think articles like this help them...and all clubs have a duty of care - which I'm sure they are mindful of.
