Every City player to a man appeared to be decked out in Nike gloves as they battled against the 3 degrees Celsius in the North West, with only the club's cameraman daring to subject his digits to the plummeting temperatures. 

Yes, but the players are all wearing their lightweight training gear and the camera man is in a padded jacket.  So what?
