Cant see too many changes from the usual 1st team
Think Pep might go with just Sergio up front with Raheem just behind maybe
Ederson
Walker Stones Otto Delph
KDB Silva Dino Sane
Sterling
Sergio

Re: squad for napoli
Somehow I dont see us wining this, but a point would still be a decent result. Obviously we should go all out for a win as that would help us down the line. Couple it with win against Feyenoord at home would mean we could rest key players against Shakhtar Donetsk which is right before we play the rags maybe even throw on a couple of the kids. Still cant say I'm that optomistic they are the in form team & playing them away is another kettle of fish.

No...we're the in-form team!Strange Blue wrote:Somehow I dont see us wining this, but a point would still be a decent result. Go all out for the win...then we can rest whoever we like in the next 2 CL games.

Turn the bloody sound down....but actually, a very good overview of how we fared against Napoli in the first game...if this is something that interests you.

Re: squad for napoli
Can't argue with TMGs team BTW although we could be slightly more defensive & stick Danilo in a DM position as they have to win this realistically to go through & we only need a point.

Re: squad for napoli
Don't think Pep does 'defensive' mode....it's all about possession-based football.
If you stick Danilo in a DFM position, who loses out?

Re: squad for napoli
What???
No chance. Sane will cause them untold problems....Sterling is our highest goalscorer.
If you add an extra DFM, all that does is allow them to come on to us, as we've lost our width.

If we win, we win the group. Got to go for it.
Got to play at least three kids from the start against Feyernood if we win tomorrow.

Re: squad for napoli
Yeah Dave speaks English ok he has for a while hes just a bit shy. The total opposite of the typical footballer nowdays, all he cares about is his football. Hope the club pays him what he wants to extend his contract, hes worth every penny.

Re: squad for napoli
Hey...I never said he doesn't speak English, I said he doesn't speak English every time he gets interviewed. He's now the Captain, so it'd be a bit poor if he didn't speak English to the media as part of the Presser.Topdawg wrote:Come on blistering, bluey wouldn't slaughter you for nothing!blisteringblue wrote:blueboy wrote:Dave speaking English. Still good MCM, very eye opening. When your mini bar has condoms in I think that says it all
It's just like every major capital though, mad busy. Loved the islands for the complete opposite.
Plus we were there for the final part of the kings year long funeral process so all the locals still mourning, so Grand Palace all closed etc.
