Leicester vs City
Another must win game. We don't want our run to end and we want to put more daylight, or at least keep the current daylight, between us and the chasing pack.
Someone from Arsenal and Spurs could fall further behind us (let's hope it's both of them) and Liverpool, Chelsea and united have winnable games.
Does anything need to change? Don't see why.
Ederson
Walker, Stones, Mangala, Delph
Fernandinho
KdB, SIlva
Sterling, Aguero, Sané
I really hope Pep doesn't put Fernandinho in defence and Yaya in MF. That'd proper fuck us up. I'd accept Fernandinho in defence with Bernardo in his place in MF.

Re: Leicester vs City
Yaya would make us way too slow and that's the last thing we need when they've got Speedy Gonvardy up front. And it doesn't help we've only got Mango as cover at centre back.
I'd much rather have Dino in as a DCM to give us the required cover, but given our distinct lack of left backs to cover that position right now, I'm not sure what else we can do. I'm not even sure who we could use as temporary cover as DCM if we play Dino at left back. I think maybe KDB, but I'd rather he was controlling the attack on his current form.
I hate to say it, but maybe we should go for a back three and focus on hammering their defence which, if I have it right, should be relatively easily picked open given our wealth of attacking options.

Re: Leicester vs City
Is Delph injured???
If he's fit, then we only need to change Otamendi for Mangala.

Re: Leicester vs City
Huh? You'd have a back 3 and Delph wide left and change Ferdy to a right CB? Surely Rich, that doesn't make any sense? You've added Danilo but moved 2 players into strange positions, when you could have easily moved Walker to accompany Stones, add Danilo to replace Walker and nothing has to change.

Re: Leicester vs City
I wonder how fit Vinnie is?
They have undone us with their long ball shit for the past few years, we owe them a 2017-18 performance. Mangala would worry me immensely against their style. Would rather go 3 at the back.

Re: Leicester vs City
I feel Mangala would get caught out, but he's very quick. Might not be quick enough for Vardy though.

Re: Leicester vs City
Why not just have different players kick Vardy until he goes off?
A good solid Delph challenge quickly followed by a smash through from Fernandinho and a smack from Walker?
