Messi admits EPL is not for him
World player of the year, Lionel Messi, has admitted that the English Premier League isn't for him.
Messi was speaking after watching the Manchester City vs Everton game on Saturday.
He said "I sat down to watch the game to see my colleagues from the national team, Carlos (Tevez), Sergio (Aguero), Pablo (Zabaleta) and maybe Denis (Stracqualursi) and friends from Spain like David (Silva) and Yaya (Toure)."
"I don't have a problem with the speed of the English game - it would suit me but I was shocked by the anti-football tactics of Everton and the way they kicked the playmaker of city, David Silva, around the pitch. It was one bad tackle after another with different players being guilty of bad tackles. This is not the way to play football. the Everton players were so expert in kicking the player instead of the ball that it makes you wonder how good they could be if they actually went for the ball" he continued.
Asked if Manchester City would be a force in the Champions League this season, Messi said "Of course they will have a chance as they have so many good players. It is whether they can keep their best players on the pitch against the backdrop of anti-football teams like Everton who just want to hurt the players rather than play football"

No Daz, everytime i see him, he's either scoring or picking himself off the floor. This would be no different in the PL.
