Players from relegated teams

Of the likely teams to go down, do you think any of their players would be worth taking in the summer?

Blackpool - Charlie Adam, and possibly Matt Gilks

West Ham - Scotty Parker, maybe Cole

Wigan - Rodellaga

Wolves - Jarvis, Kightly, Doyle (I really rate Doyle)

Birmingham - None

Blackburn - Phil Jones

Any others?

I'd say Scott Parker is the best out of that lot but he's getting on a bit and is unlikely to want to leave London.

Only thing I have against Kevin Doyle is that he grew up a United fan like most of Ireland(thankfully I saw sense). That said I think he's an honest player and would give his best for us if we signed him.

We could be in for a striker or 2 as well if Tevez goes and Balotelli is kicked out in the summer.

I swear to Christ if Balotelli plays for us ever again I'll kill Mancini even if it means having to get another manager in.

Charlie Adam is the ONLY player worth looking at imo, he really has excelled this season and fully deserves the praise he's getting.
Jarvis has done ok i guess but he'd just be another squad player and it's starters and not squad players needed now. Doyle doesn't score enough goals for me and Rodellega is a more natural finisher but he's too sulky.

Hangeland from Fulham. Samba from Blackburn
Any two from Adam, Parker, O'Hara & Jarvis would be better than Yaya & Barry
Varney from Blackpool?
Nzogbia from Wigan?
Ridgewell & Ferguson from Brum?

You have to be careful about cherry picking the best players from weaker teams though. I mean look at Barry, he stood out a mile at Villa, but he doesn't in our side.

Don't think any of those players are worth a punt really, we've got a very young core to our team: Hart, Kompany, Milner, Johnson, Richards, Dzeko, Silva are all 25 and under. Think we need to balance that out by bringing in some experienced European players who are more the finished article.

Realistically we only need to sign new top quality CB, LB and creative mid. Other than that, a couple of squad players and then bring some youth players into the picture and we should be right for next season in my book!
