What team should Southgate pick tonight?

Rumours are he will change 4/5 players and Kane and Vardy may play together.

Pickford will be rested
Stones will be rested
Young will be rested
Walker will be rested
Alli will be rested
Lingard will be rested
Sterling will be "dropped"

if he rests Henderson it will improve the team,, haha

Interesting, although I'm not sure Southgate will break with the formula of a back three and wing-backs.  I guess we don't have much to play for, I doubt either team out of group H will be too much of a problem for us in the Ro16 and it'll all depend on which half of the quarter finals we'd prefer to be in.  Winnng the group would give us the arguably more winnable game in the quarter final, but a potentially harder semi. They way I look at it coming 2nd in the group is the easiest route to the final so based on that wholesale changes might not be a bad thing although keeping the defence together as they need more practice working together.

A fair point, squire. There have been a few instances where we've looked very fragile at the back and against a better side, we would've been punished. I expect Belgium to give us a proper test of our mettle and I'd rather we tried to keep them from battering us.

I want to win or at least play well. Keep that momentum going and the confidence high.

Yep, rumours Belgium are changing 10 players.  Crazy talk.  I say win and keep up the momentum, there is no stand out team in the tournament.

Well, it looks like we're either up against Colombia or Japan in the Ro16.  Neither looks like a huge threat, to be frank.

I presume he's a dipper fanatic?  He played okay, but he can't take a corner for shit.  Trippier is miles and miles and miles ahead of him in terms of quality.
