Re: City v Burnley
It’s Burnley’s only realistic chance of winning anything this season, I can’t see them going down and I think Dykes will field his best team.

Re: City v Burnley
Well, I can see your thinking... Level on points with Southampton and Palace, with Newcastle acting as a buffer and three points clear of the drop zone. I can't see past Huddersfield and Fulham going down and it's going to need Cardiff to pick up a bit more than they have done. But that said, with all those other teams not being in the competition, Burnley might end up distracted and drop more points as a result. Like you said, it seems a bit unlikely they'll be relegated, but they're only one weekend off being on the precipice. They might look at Wigan - won the FA Cup and relegated all at once.ManCityMan wrote: / I can’t see them going down /
I'd rather we played a strong team anyway. It's not like the team that will go out there have played in midweek.

I thought I heard Dyche say he was going to res players..
I would if I was him, they need to focus on league points..

I think Pep may have one eye on Newcastle so maybe not quite as strong a squad as he’s hinted

Re: City v Burnley
As long as Pep doesn’t weaken the side too much, i’m still cringing at the crap game on Wednesday against Burton when he fielded a very weak team. I know it was a dead rubber but I expected better than 1-0 even from that team he put out.
I expect to see David Silva, Mendy, KDB as they all need game time having not played much recently. Sterling has had a rest and should start and Gundogan, Bernardo should play some part possibly from the bench. At the back Vinny is injured again, Stones needs more game time if fit alongside Laport.

No idea how that’s only 1-0 at half-time, some of the passing in the final third has been amazing. Good for Gabby to get a proper goal rather than a tap-in too, great goal.

Should be 1-1 very sloppy. Certainly missed a few. Lost my English stream, had to do Russian now.

Yep, that was their chance and they blew it. Couple of mins later they’re 2 down.

Terrific stuff, a bit of swagger about that performance. With everyone back fit it’s looking good for the run-in.

29 goals scored since last dippers goal against too. Ramp it up and watch them stumble.

Sterling & Sane are fresh for Tuesday & I’m glad Jesus is proving the doubters wrong
