I don't know, think they might get to half time at 0-0. How comfortable it is will be dependent on how early we score IMO.

Pretty impressed with their approach to the game so far. Hard to see why they’re struggling in the Championship. 1-0 down!

Re: Swansea v City
They'll try to hang on to this for the rest of the game. Gonna be a real grind from now. Did Delph make a similar mistake at the start of the season?

Re: Swansea v City
Might buck us up a bit, but we are worse up front with Mahrez starting. Constant one trick pony

A very complacent air about us today. Though it was a walk in the park. Good goal

The only way we are going to get three points out of this is if Pep makes changes. Sterling needs to come on for a start.

sadly can't watch the game as it is not shown here. So have to listen to fred eyre and some other guy from radio Manchester. Sounds bloody frustrating. Appears everything is bouncing off their keeper and Delph, walker and Mahrez are having nightmares

Re: Swansea v City
Think it will only take an early goal this half, but they have a bloody force field around the goal.

Change this fucking shite pep, we will never break their block down. Fair play Swansea, done something nobody else has.

Re: Swansea v City
We’re certainly not getting any luck, it’s a bit like the home defeat to Palace, every ricochet going their way. Sterling for Mahrez soon please.

Odd one, fair play Swansea, I've no complaints.
Team of prima Donnas today. Not up for it.

Never thought we’d be subbing Delph for Zinky don’t know what’s happened to him this season

just listening to radio commentary is a nightmare. Which goal was offside as it wasn't mentioned on the commentary?

Sergio’s winner offside, penalty was pretty dubious too.

Re: Swansea v City
We got away with it yesterday. We won't if we start like that in the CL. Awful first half. However, just shows you how Sergio, Bernardo and Sterling can change games. No pen for me and Sergio offside - but that's the FA's choice for not having VAR and the other 14 clubs like LFC who voted against it.
Sane, another uninspiring display. And as for Mahrez? Holy fuck, thought he'd been garbage this season, but that performance was embarrassing. Get rid.
It's one thing saying "he needs another season"....but he's surrounded by brilliant players. He's playing one position. And who's place will he be taking next season as a starter?
One-trick pony.
Hate to break our momentum, but the International break will allow Ferna and KDB to get back.

That first half was a tough watch in horrible conditions. The amount of bile, hatred and vitriol aimed at Mahrez, by our own fans, was simply disgusting. Nearly came to blows with one fella for his racist abuse of Mahrez. He may have been shit, but there's a line you don't cross.

Re: Swansea v City
Obviously don't condone racist behaviour but Mahrez was very poor and has had a poor season considering we are still in 4 competitions and he's had plenty of game time. He was even poor in some of our 7/8-0 drubbings of teams. Personally I'd cash in on him. We may get what we paid & buy someone else as back up to Razza. Whilst we are at it we need another left FB as well as Mendy is perpetually injured & Delph ain't good enough.

Re: Swansea v City
I watched this one down the pub and I said at half time, we could win this, but not with Delph or Mahrez as they are both passengers. At least Sane was trying, but it looked to me like he pulled up short halfway through the first half, so maybe be tweaked a hamstring or something.
Once we had Serge and Razza on the pitch, we looked a completely different outfit. We can't keep relying on these two to bail us out every time. And I have to say, Zinchenko looked infinitely better than Delphinho, who was constantly dragging himself out of position instead of letting Laporte do his job.
Oh well, a fluke it may have been, but looking who's left, we'd have to be favourites now. Let's just hope Watford take care of Wolves, they've been looking pretty handy of late too.

It was like that at Goodison....couldn't believe they were taking it behind me. It's definitely becoming a problem at football stadiums.

It's the new brand of Yuppie Blue that has come with our success. They were probably Rags or Dippers 10-20 years ago.

Yeah, that seems to be the demograpic for this nonsense. Plus it's easy to take on the stands, unlike legal stuff like booze or cigs. And I bet it's cheaper than a couple of pints as well...Topdawg wrote:mostly kids in their 20 I thought.TMG wrote:It's the new brand of Yuppie Blue that has come with our success. Yeah, it's definitely cheaper these days.....see that Ian Herbert wrote something today about it.
