Summer Movers and Shakers

So in the gossip pages today there's a couple mooted to be on their way..
The Ottamendi rumour came up last week from an article that was spun and rumbles on still..    Soo, who are we thinking might be off in the summer... I'll give my list.


Bravo
Mangalla
Ottamendi
Danilo
Delph
Gundongan
Mahrez


If these players move on, mostly for more playing times, stage of careers etc, should free up space to bring in 2 or 3 quality signings to really bolster the first team squad up.  Might see more younger players nipping into the fringes too.

Someone mention the promoted Shakers there Dan?

Don't think Gundagan will end up leaving... but the rest I wouldn't be too bothered about being shipped out.

I know he won't be leaving, but I'd fire Mendy off and get a more reliable LB in to challenge Zinky.

For what it's worth, here's my take.

Delph is a utility player, no reason to get rid. He's happy to stay at City as a squad player.
Mahrez won't be sold. 
Can't see Gundogan signing a new contract - he would have done it by now. He'll be wanting a 4-5 year contract, City won't offer him that.
I think Bravo will be No.2 and Muric may go on loan or be sold.

In my list,
I see Muric as number 2, young and capable, Bravo needs first team footy someplace as he's got about 2 years left playing.
Delph has been a slight liability of late, when we've had to call on him he hasn't stood up so think it's his time to move on.
Mahrez I think wants more game time. plan and simple. he will be getting itchy feet and his agent will be on the lookout. We're in no rush to sell, but think he might want to move.


Mendy is an interesting one, see how he gets on if he can get a summer and pre-season under his belt, otherwise we will need more cover at LB

Muric was on loan. He only came back to City because of Bravo's injury - otherwise, he'd still be on loan.
Delph has been out injured, played one game where he wasn't great, but let's not brush under the carpet, the fact that Zinchenko has had some shockers this season and how good Delph was last year.
Pep said Mahrez isn't going anywhere - guess we have to take his words on trust.

We have also bought that American zac steffen so I would have thought he would be #2 with Muric on loan and Bravo sold. Gundogan will go I think along with Danillo. I can see Delph going but only if city want rid as he is home grown. Mahrez unfortunately will stay unless a big offer comes in. The left field bet for me would be Sane which would be a blow as I think he could be a good player for us for a number of years to come.
