ONE MORE YEAR - DAVID SILVA
Well, we knew it was coming - and now it's officially announced.
David Silva will leave after a wonderful 10 years at the club.
Gonna be emotional. My all-time favourite City player, however, as one legend leaves, another potential future legend will take his place, The Stockport Iniesta.

If football ever had an artist on the pitch, then it's him. Best I've ever seen in a City shirt, utter joy to watch, just hope and wish Foden's up to that level.

Not seen better, but it's the longevity of his brilliance that really sets him apart from the rest.
To produce the performances that he has for 9 seasons is remarkable.
And yet, for me the best thing about him is the lack of negative publicity, contract shenanigans, or disruptive behaviour. I've no doubt that over the course of his City career many clubs have tried to persuade him to look at moving on, and all credit to him that he has remained loyal.
I don't use the word often, but Spanish Dave you are a legend sir.

There’s one or two you could argue are better on their day, but for sheer sustained quality there’s none better. Easily my favourite City player ever. The ball to Dzeko in the mauling at the swamp probably the best example of his vision and ability.

All good things come to an end....and let's be honest here guys, after his performances last season we could see it coming.
Hopefully City can go out on another high next season....just for him.

That's a big comment Rich. Agreed he's been better than Kolorov and at least on a par with Santa Cruz for me

For sheer skill and creativity I have to agree Rich.Paulpowersleftfoot wrote:Comfortably the best City player I’ve ever seen,so consistent

Aguero's another player I've never seen the likes of at City before....he's by far the best striker we've ever had.
Even better than Badbuy.
