Best & Worst
So, as there’s nothing happening at present, it’s got me thinking back over this obsession that is City.
And I’ve been thinking of the ups and downs, the great games, the games that brought utter despair, and the great players and the players that should never have pulled on the shirt.
And I was wondering if you had to pick a favourite player and the player that really boils your piss, who would they be?
For me, my favourite City player may not have had the skills of the players of recent times or be known by many non-City football fans in the same way that Bell, Summerbee and Lee are. But to me Mike Doyle was always Mr City, the player I always wanted to be.
And at the other end of the spectrum I give you Danny Mills.

I'd rather just look at the wonderful players rather than those that boil my piss otherwise my piss would always be boiled!
David Silva is the best I've seen.

Re: Best & Worst
Saw Nigel Clough come on as a sub on a mud bath of a pitch at Molineux when I think we were 3 down, and leave the pitch cleaner than when he came on!
And to add insult to injury I was kindly escorted from the ground because of my forthright opinion of him. I put more effort into my abuse of him than he put into his entire performance

Best ever, David Silva. Had an inexplicable liking for players like Huckerby and Bellamy, neither of whom really hit the heights. Least faves McManaman and Seaman.

Peter Barnes as a kid, Kinky was another magician in a pretty shit era.
Worst, yes usual suspects, Clough, Scouse Pointy and Crocky Santa Cruz and might even throw Corradi in there too

so many hero's But my first ever hero is the one that I will stick with and that was in the same team as tbw alluded to. Neil Young
I think because of the adulation for Summerbee,Bell & Lee Young was somewhat overlooked by media. so many have been crap or worse than crap, keith mcrae, Arthur mann, Gerry creaney , and a whole raft of others

Colin Bell, Denis Tueart, Kinky, Denis Law when he sent Uniturd down. I loved watching Robinho in the very few matches when he could be arsed.
Daveed, Vinny, Pablo & Sergio from more recent times.
Bony was £25m & atrocious. Bianchi, RSC, Lee Bradbury spring to mind out of a whole crockashite we used to have
