No not the restart of the season but that pesky court of appeal.
We seem to have a good legal team which hopefully will end in the charges being thrown out.
Hopeful but doubtful imo.

The best result would be total exoneration nothing less. City really have to come out of this with their reputation in tact and the only way is to be cleared of all wrong doing. The look on the faces of Tebas, Hoeness and all the other protagonists in this affair  would be priceless. The damage this could do to the club in regards to the ban, Losing revenue and players could be catastrophic if it goes against us not to mention a green light then for the premier league to open its own investigation into the validity of our previous Premier league wins.

I'm obviously hoping it gets thrown out but tbh I'm expecting a 1yrs ban.

The repercussions/consequences for UEFA,  European football and perhaps football in general should City win would be too great for them. It would be far easier for all concerned if the ban was simply halved and everybody (except City of course) goes away happy especially UEFA who save  face and their flawed and deeply unfair FFP process remains in place. 
I fear this is a fight that City cannot win even with their mighty legal team. As essentially a sporting body, CAS will base part of their decision on what is  the best for the sport of football and not entirely on the evidence of wrong doing by either side. The evidence will, i believe, prove we were unfairly treated and punished harshly but CAS will not want their decision to damage the sport which is why i believe they will hedge their bets and just reduce the punishment rather than find UEFA guilty of any impropriety.

Yeah unfortunately I agree with MCM. I think the best we can hope for is a reduction in the penalty. I would imagine the CL refs will have been given instructions to be less favourable to us as well, as us winning the CL would be a little embarassing for UEFA.
