Newcastle v City

This game should be the only one these two teams are focused on. Newcastle are safe enough with 39 points and City really should be getting 2nd spot in the league. Newcastle play again on Wednesday and City on Thursday. This is the nearest Newcastle have come to winning something for ages and there's no Rafa Benitez putting out a second string team to focus on the league.

Mahrez, Jesus, Foden

Looks like Mendy is starting where he left off against chelsea

Otamendi scares the crap out of me, that pass across his own box to be intercepted by a Newcastle player was typical of the mistakes he has on his locker time and time again. He HAS to go!

The return of me shouting at the telly - "Awww....Mendy wtf you doing!"

if someone had got on the end of some of Mendy's crosses he'd have been a hero. Whilst he does stuff up from time to time i think some of the criticism he receives is a bit harsh. He fizzed some superb crosses in but no one on the end of them. Give him a good full season and lets see what he can do. I still like Otamendi also yes he does goof up and it is bloody annoying more so like Norwich when he cost us a goal but some of his timely interventions have been priceless yet they always appear to be forgotten in the grand scheme of things. I would dearly love to see Cancelo get a lot more game time as what little i have seen has not been too bad.
