What really boils my piss about JH winning it is, he wasn’t even the best player in his team, let alone the league.
They’re banging on about it being because he led his team to the title! By that reasoning the captain of the champions should automatically get it every season.
If ever there was a captain that led their team from the front to win the league, surely it was Vincent Kompany? Obviously he was wearing the wrong shirt!

trouble is the criterion for winning it meant Kompany couldnt because he was injured for 2 thirds of the season. I read in the M.E.N that Henderson had done a lot of work for the premier league in the wake of Covid and that also counted!!!!!
