No one else available. He could have gone with Aké to see what he was about.

I feel strangely confident coming into this game.
I'm expecting a 2 goal winning margin.

I would feel a lot happier with anyone other than Mendy at left back. He frightens me.

I'd play the cleaning lady before I'd play Mendy

Just as I say that he proves my point! Surely he has to be replaced for the second half.

The midfiel disappeared after that first 30 mins. 

Foden looked off the pace kdb in the 2nd half was poor and stirling was his usual wasteful self

i  just wish we would pull the trigger more than tippy tappy passes that always break down. a few times when through the wrong pass was made if we just look up instead of trying the safe option. when we broke forward we always seemed to check back which played right into their hands. kev wants to show Mahrez how to pass a ball. He (Mahrez) was the only one prepared to take a shot on yet he couldn't keep the ball down or on target. He's the one i wouldn't fault for trying to pass. We are crying out for a striker. someone who can hgold the ball up and bring others in to play. we do not have that with a false 9.

It’s the VAR inconsistencies that have really p*ssed me off. I can’t carry on investing time and emotion in something that is so arbitrary.
Shouldn’t football be enjoyable?

Can't see Pep being here next season the way we are going. Only three games in but we're already on the backfoot. 

At some point the owner/chairman will have enough.

3 games and same problem not addressed 
But it’s only 3 games is the defensive argument for Pep but it’s really not just about the 3 games is it?
Time and again over the last year it’s been an issue and it’s never been sorted
Plan A is flawed and still to have no Plan B is shameful

Teams have learnt. Playing 5-4-1 meant you'd lose in that Centurion season. And in the formidable season too. 

But it's the starting point of what worked last season. Instead of being 95% likely to lose, they see they have a 25% chance of beating us now. 

Last season's failings are still here and not playing a CF is criminal.
