Man City v Liverpool
Must not lose game.
Ederson
Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo
Rodri
KdB, Foden
Sterling, Gabby J, Torres
If Gabby isn't ready to start, replace with Bernardo or Gundogan in MF and put Foden in the front three.

Re: Man City v Liverpool
Mahrez is a luxury we can't afford for this game. I'd start with Torres insteadshakencity wrote:Pep'll probably play Mahrez n Gundagan imo....hope not though.

I wouldn’t class Mahrez as a luxury, but agree that we can’t afford to keep carrying him. I really don’t think he contributes enough to warrant a starting position

Re: Man City v Liverpool
Liverpool starting with a very attacking line up and I think with Rodri and Gundogan playing we are inviting too much pressure. I would rather see a midfield that puts them on the back foot.
Unfortunately I still think it will be decided by a dive, dodgy red card or ludicrous VAR ruling. Such is modern football.

Re: Man City v Liverpool
2pts dropped imo. We didn't do anywhere near enough in that 2nd half to warrant the 3pts. Liverpool will definitely be the happier of the 2 teams this morning.
It was as though we were playing not to lose, rather than to win....and I never thought I'd say that with Pep in charge.

He seems to have developed, over the past couple of seasons, an inferiority complex when it comes to Liverpool. It’s bloody frustrating
