City vs Liverpool
Objectively, I think we were lucky to get all 3 points. I thought Liverpool looked dangerous on the attack.
We could have and should have been 3/4-1 up at half time, but for poor finishing.
Terrible mistake by the linesman let us off with Sterling through on goal.
Thought Vinny had a good game....but once again, Kolorov's defending left a lot to be desired....really not sure why MP picked him over Clichy.
Thought Yaya had another average game...
Fernandinho was excellent in MF and so did Silva.
I think Joe made enough crucial saves to keep his place now.
Positives - a step closer to Aguero being back, we took 3 points without being at our best and we relegated Liverpool to 4th....and we are only 1 point off the top.
All in all, a good week.
Think Rogers is out of order claiming some bias by Mason, as he is from Greater Manchester. Wonder if he will get a ban??
Ratings:
Hart - 8
Zab - 7
Vinny - 8
Lescott - 6
Kolorov - 6
Silva - 8
Yaya - 6
Fernandinho - 9
Nasri - 6
Navas - 6
Negredo - 6

Re: City vs Liverpool
Vinny replaced DM in the charging out and committing yourself stakes. If you nick the ball away, that's great. If you don't then you leave the rest of the defence up shit creek.
Rodgers should get his arse spanked for his mouthing off. I have never ever heard him complaining that the ref didn't give a penalty whenever Skrtel defends a corner. Pretty much every game he plays, Skrtel doesn't look at the ball because he is fouling an opposition player. Every single time.

Re: City vs Liverpool
Let's get a simple fact right 1st of all Brendan, Lee Mason's from Bolton which ISN'T Great Manchester at all. Rogers should keep his big fuckin gob shut and stop sounding like a hard done to loser.....sad twat.
Yeah we got lucky with the offside decision, but that had nothing to do with Mason. All the shirt pulling in the area went both ways and as Dawg says, Skrtel, was the biggest culprit throughout the game.....but Mr Rogers seemed to forget that fact in his post match interview.
Hart more than justified his selection, with a great display and imo was MOM. This was a great win against a very competitive and confident Liverpool side.....keep up the good work boys.

Watched it with my scouse mate, was hart to be humble when giving it large! We could have won it 6-3 like the arsenal game so not arsed how hard done to Rogers thought he was.
Fernandino is looking a bargain to me now.

Re: City vs Liverpool
It wasn't an disallowed goal as some Scousers are saying ffs,
it was just an offside and everyone stopped except Stirling. Who says Joe wouldn't of saved it ? And what about there goalkeeper and his effort saving Negrado's goal... if that was Joe Hart he would be getting pelters now!! Glad to see Zaba back though!!

Yeah, good point belly.bellyblue wrote: And what about there goalkeeper and his effort saving Negrado's goal... if that was Joe Hart he would be getting pelters now!!
Can just imagine how much crap Joe would have got in the papers today if he'd have palmed that effort into the net like Mignolet did.

Seems the FA are questioning it...blueboy wrote:Think Rogers is out of order claiming some bias by Mason, as he is from Greater Manchester. Wonder if he will get a ban??
