well i think we could play until christmas and not look like scoring. Passing was sloppy. A total lack of urgency. Gundogan, Fernandinho, Kyle their passing was atrocious. We barely put in a tackle and don't get me started on sterling.

To be honest I was watching the cricket today not the match, but it doesn’t seem to have been too positive.
Shades of last season’s start?

Re: City v Southampton
Tbh, only Dias, Ake and Grealish came out with any credit imo - the rest were utterly abysmal.
The passing was way off, we looked Laboured making the build up play too slow. I could pick out Sterling, once again as a scapegoat but 3 or 4 others out there were just as poor and ineffective.
Southampton fully deserved their point and I guess the only positives are we kept a clean sheet and got a point.

I didn’t think Ake or Grealish played particularly well either. Dias was excellent. Dunno why Pep left it so late to bring on Foden Mahrez & KDB when we hadn’t had a single shot on target & looked utterly woeful
