Copenhagen v City
With City pretty much through to the knock out stages, I'd rest as many first team players as possible tonight. Liverpool is a bigger fish to fry.
Rest:
Ederson
Cancelo
Akanji
Bernardo
KdB
Foden
Haaland

Re: Copenhagen v City
3 talking points from the game.
Rodri's goal should have stood as it was an accidental handball from Mahrez and that is allowed this season.
Poor penalty from Mahrez after a correct, but soft penalty.
Poor decision making from Gomez to get himself sent off. You just can't get away with that with VAR around. Probably cost us the win as we were creating chance s and controlling the game up to that point.

felt a bit sorry for alvarez. he suffered more than most after the sending off ./was hoping to see a couple of goals from him tonight.

Re: Copenhagen v City
VAR isn't fit for purpose - it was brought in to help the game, yet all it does is take common sense away from it.
Anyway, point was enough in the end and a few players got a rest - would still have preferred KDB to have been rested but I'm sure he'll be fine for Sunday.
We should get 3pts on Sunday but it's Liverpool away and anything can happen.
