Kolo and that ban

Fellow city supporters will know I love a great conspiracy theory so this might come as no suprise.

Does anyone else not find it strange this comes on the back of the Tevez affair and could City not be trying to cut the appeal from under Tevez and his advisor who will no doubt claim that he is being victimised and Klo was never charged? I expect Kolo to be found guilty but receive a suspended fine/rights none payment from the club just to cover their backsides.

but the rights stuff is supposed to be worth £1.5M which is a fair bit of brass.

They need to come to some sort of compromise with KoLo so that he STFU

But Kolo was banned from playing for 6mths, why do the club need to add anything onto this?

If this was dealt with by the PL (not City), then surely any non-payment of wages/image rights and sponsorship should have been imposed at the time. After he's served his 6mth ban then it should be forgotten with and moved on from.

I'm sure Rio didn't have all this crap after he'd served his ban?

Apparently they wanted a hearing earlier but he was out of the country or banned from the site (could have held it at lawyers surely).

Now is the first chance. Right after rumours of him wanting out.
