Parting shot from Napoli & team for Liverpool
"Sheikh Mansour takes all the oil money and has built the club [City] only for a personal whim."
Would you expect to hear that from the chairman of a well established European football club, or a keyboard dribbler over on ja606? Pig ignorant and unnecessary if you ask me, yet I'm often informed that it's us blues who have no class.

Still hurting from Tuesday to be honest, but it makes Sunday a real test of our title credentials now, hopefully the lads will respond and put in a decent performance. I go for:
Hart,
Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy
De Jong, Barry
Milner, Silva, Balotelli (if fit - he had fever in Italy?)
Aguero
Looking out for a good performance from Kompany, despite our performances in the League so far I don't think he's been in form since last season, looked sloppy against Newcastle and Napoli, which worries me.
Fullbacks should be rested, missed them big time the other night. Hopefully Capello will be able to see how much better Micah is than Glen Johnson if they are on the pitch at the same time.
Wouldn't play Yaya myself, he looked cream crackered last Saturday, even worse on Tuesday, so I see him becoming a complete passenger by the 70min mark against Liverpool. Rest him, although I know it's more likely I'll be watching the game having just become a millionaire, after winning the national lottery which I don't even buy tickets for - in which case I put him in the middle of the midfield and Silva out wide, taking off Balotelli as I suspect he might be ill for the game anyway.
Then Aguero up top on his own, Dzeko not worth a place in the starting XI after Tuesday night.
Unlike a few blues I've spoke too, feeling optimistic about the Liverpool game, if only because we can't do any worse than we did there last year!

Who gives a shit what some dick from Naples says.
We all know Yaya's going to play, so alter your team Ben. I'd like to see both Aguero and Balo start but i don't think they will. Milner will be rested imo aswell with either AJ or Nasri taking over but we're all guessing mate .
...............Hart
Micah...VK.....Lescott....Clichy
........NDJ.........Barry
AJ..........Yaya.........Silva
..........Balotelli

Re: Parting shot from Napoli & team for Liverpool
Personally I think Dzeko needs a run of games to get his form back. He was on fire remember when he got dropped early season, just needs that little spark back and he will be flying again.
Hopefully Richards will be fit again, he was completely missing on Tuesday so I think he had a knock.
Any news on Suarez if he has been banned or not yet??

No news on Suarez.
I expect Mancini to play Yaya come what may.
The Napoli owner also said he doesn't give a shit about the europa cup

You can't knock the Napoli chairman for saying what he "thinks"..
Nothing to say he is right... but what he thinks

In the Sun the Italian knobhead says "I think Sheikh Mansour just wanted a toy when he bought Man City, if they don't win something quickly he could just go somewhere else and buy another toy".
Good job we won the FA Cup last season then eh! I'm willing to bet the stupid fuckwit didn't know that fact.

We were awful at Anfield last year, just not up for a battle so the mindset needs to be greatly improved this time around.I would think we will set up more defensive than we have been of late and I'd snatch your hand off for a point now
Hart
Richards. Kompany. Lescott Clichy
De Jong Barry
Milner yaya silva
Aguero

Like PPLF's team but would prefer AJ on the right, Yaya dropped & Milner in the middle but THAT wont happen so AJ for Milner as Milner could do wi a rest

we need Milner's work rate.
I'd take that point too PPLF.

Re: Parting shot from Napoli & team for Liverpool
Although he did sub him with five minutes to go against Newcastle the other day
Ok I go for:
Hart
Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy
De Jong, Barry
Milner/Balotelli, Yaya, Silva
Aguero
Reckon Milner may be rested, or Balotelli might still have this fever, so which ever one of them is in the best shape on Sunday will start. Wouldn't go with AJ, and although I think Dzeko needs a couple of games too, don't think Anfield is the place to start - I thought up to his goal away at QPR he was poor too, play him next home game.

Re: Parting shot from Napoli & team for Liverpool
Hi guys...calmed down a little today and looking forward to Sunday, albeit with a little trepidation after Naples.
Team:
Hart
Richards - against Downing
Kompany - for Suarez
Lescott - for Caroll
Clichy - for Kuyt
DeJong
Barry
Milner
Yaya
Silva
Aguero
I think with 4 days rest, Milner will be fine, Richards may have recovered (if indeed he was injured) and Mancini will have got stuck into the players - and especially Kompany, Lescott and DeJong.
I can see a feisty game, one where we better be careful of Suarez's diving and rolling around.
I can see him playing Caroll with Suarez behind him after his 2 goals last season and our poor defending from corners lately.
Anyway - whatever team he plays, they better forget Tuesday and continue our PL form or better it.
