Re: Team for the arse
Chuffed Micah is fit, would have been worried what the back four would look like if he wasn't available, think we missed him against the rent boys too.
I go with the same back 5.
NDJ, Barry
Silva, Milner, Nasri
Aguero
Yaya looked dead on his feet against Chelsea, was all over the place. We all know it's unlikely he will be dropped, but ffs Bobby if ever there has been a time to leave him on the bench it is this Sunday.

I'd be starting with Yaya, but with a pre-agreed time fo say 60 minutes to get Nige on the field to give him more game time and rest Yaya.
Other than that I think Bobby will look at Dawgs team for this weekend.

No way would I put Zaba against Walcott. Sorry, he'll run him ragged.
Out of the box:
Hart
Zaba
Lescott
Kompany
Richards
or
Richards
Lescott
Kompany
Ned
NDJ
Yaya
Milner
Silva
Aguero
Nasri/Dzeko

Re: Team for the arse
We need to go for the jugular. Arsenal have put a decent run together and confidence is high. We've just lost a game, they'll be looking to hit us while we're dazed.
I'm hoping QPR give United as good a game as they gave us (Sweep is saying they will), but I'm not going to take it as read that they'll do us a favour. Granted, a draw would be enough for us to stay top (unless United put 20 past QPR), but I'd rather try to keep as big a gap as reasonably possible.
Not sure of the best way to keep Walnut at bay, we don't have a LB available. Maybe Richards could do a job there. But I think we need someone to keep van pussy on a leash and Nige is just the man for the job. Plus that'll give us the option of pushing Yaya forward.
We need to hit them hard and fast. And clinically, we can't afford to miss a single chance. So I'd have Mario on, as he seems to be our only CF with any eye for goal right now.

Re: Team for the arse
I'd like to see us try 5 at the back with Zabaleta and Richards given more freedom to operate as wing backs
....................Hart........................
........kolo.....Kompany....Lescott......
Richards...............................Zabaleta
................Milner.......Barry..............
..........yaya.......................silva.....
..................Balotelli......................
Between Lescott,Barry and Zabaleta they should be able to crowd out Walcott and it should be a lot tighter for van Persie to manoeuvre but would also give us plenty of width which we've been lacking.Aguero hasn't been playing well so I'd give Mario a run in the side,he seems more likely than Edin to fit into any plan and still keep on scoring

According to SSN - Mario and Micah have been at it. Don't know which one has the black eye though!!

Re: Team for the arse
I'd go with Zab at LB over Richards. Richards positioning has been absolutely all over the place on the rare occassions that he has filled in at LB, so I'd go for Zab even though he hasn't got as much pace.
My worry with sticking NDJ on van Persie is that Nige isn't fully match fit at the moment, he's looked a little rusty when he's played since picking up that injury against Swansea really. The other problem is that Yaya is cream crackered at the moment too, which makes me think Sunday will probably be one of those Keegan "you score 4 we'll score 5" games.

Re: Team for the arse
PErsonally, even tho Zabba has the experience, I'd put Savic in the mix, he did a great job in the CCup, had pace too, which, given Walcott will be playing there, doesn't fill me with too much confidence, sorry Pablo!
I thought YaYa was looking good recently, we need to get the most out of him before he goes to ANC, his surging runs are what we need, replace him after the hour if need be, he's got a good thing going with Barry in the middle, and with Arsenal flying again, they need nulifying in the centre, lets do what we did in the 1st 24mins at Chelsea, but this time, get a healthy lead, then just pick them off a la Utd at OT.
Seeing as we won't be getting the Tw*t, Clattenberg (Arrrgghhh, still miffed!!!) I'm quietly confident of a good result! even tho' all the pundits on Football Focus said we'd win the title this year!!!! even Lawro!!!!!
