Who to pick? Empty Who to pick?

Yesterday was disappointing and we have slowed down a bit on the goalscoring front. 1 at Chelsea, 1 vs arsenal, nothing against WBA.

Against teams that don't play with 10 behind the ball, Nasri is alright.

Most teams we play against are playing with 9 or 10 behind the ball though. If we score, they come onto us and we obliterate them quite easily.

What we need against these teams is width.

I love Zabba, but Micah is always first choice RB. He can maraud down the right giving us a great option especially if AJ plays as well.

Maybe we should get a top winger in January. I'm not saying the rags have got the best wingers in Nani, Young and Valencia, but at least they have a different option and aren't afraid to use it.

Nani, Young and Valencia

Agree - without Johnson/Micah on the right, we are lacking any width.

Not sure if he will buy a winger, maybe another CF who can play wide as well.

We have lacked width at times this season, but I only really see bringing on a winger if the normal formation isn't working, which isn't that often to be fair. So I don't see how we could bring in another winger without it signaling the end for Adam Johnson. If anything AJ just needs to be brought on in games a little sooner.

If we need a forward I think we need a goal poacher. Aguero is better playing off a striker I reckon, rather than actually leading the line, I don't think it's a coincidence our goals have dried up a little whilst Dzeko has had his dip in form/absence through injury.

Would like to see Aguero, Silva and Yaya all rested against Sunderland. All three were a bit of sorts against West Brom, don't want them being overplayed.

I agree grated about dropping those players - but just can't see Mancini dropping Yaya when he is about to leave in 2 weeks time. As for Silva and Aguero - I think if anything, he will play Nasri, Dzeko and Silva as a front 3 against Sunderland and drop Balotelli and Aguero.

Its time we reverted back to this formation - albeit with any out of 5.

My only other concern at the moment is the lack of gametime De Jong is getting. When Yaya leaves for ACON, De Jong is the obvious replacement. But he isn't match fit at the moment, and it appears Mancini is going to leave it to the wire, play Yaya as much as he can, and bring in De Jong before he has time to gain any form. That's my concern anyway, but as always I'm sure Bobby has a plan.
