Worth a punt I reckon, stop gap solution till summer & will provide some much needed competition and cover for centre back places.

No, we should hijack Chelskis move for Cahill imo (although i begrudge givin "the soon to be bust" Wanky a penny). If they heard City were in for him, they'd probably hike the price upto £10m anyway.

No i dont rate him in the slightest, we should buy a proper defender, Samuel, Chielini, or even Vermaelen. We need someone to compliment Vince, not sit back and let him do all the work. Motm again last night and got in the way of everything.

I'd go for Alex purely because I don't think January is the time to buy our ideal partner for Vinny, better waiting til summer, so Alex would be a decent stop gap solution until then.

Like to see Ned stay as cover for the short term, Alex has stated he wants to stay in London and QPR are now favorites. Samba would be a good shout if we could get him.
