Michael Oliver The New Howard Webb!
What a twat! Bottled it when he should have given a penalty at the swamp....dear oh dear....roll on when that cunt pops his jock clogs and his grip over referees is over forever.
Cannot believe he didn't give that...but then again, how many times have we seen it over the years?
Disgraceful.

Re: Michael Oliver The New Howard Webb!
Well, if they only managed to score one against the weakest opponents away in the Prem, it gives us hope, that's 2 game defining, nay title defining penalties that have gone against us, the Chelsea away game, and this one, that's even before you factor in offside goals in the last minute, Sunderland, and then Swansea for us.
Still, I expected them to start running away with it now, scoring 5 again, so, a nervy 1,0 win gives us all hope!

Even Slur Alex said it was a penalty !! I think they will have a tougher game on Monday away to Blackburn. We can but hope anyway.

He can give no excuses, he was 10yds behind the incident looking straight at it. As you say blue, he bottled it.
I'm willing to bet if Utd were 1-0 down and it'd have been a Rag going down in the 88th minute at OT, a penalty would've been given.

Just teasing - bit down about the poor tactics from Bobby on Saturday PLUS the abysmal "no call" by the ref last night. We need a miracle.

Re: Michael Oliver The New Howard Webb!
Not a miracle. Just another big score in the derby. We beat them 5-0 and we increase our goal difference by 10. Should make it tricky for them to pull back from that.
Oh, that and the fact we need to win the 6 games before. And the two after. A mere bagatelle

I watched up until white pele hoofed it in,couldn't stomach the vile arselicking commentary on sky so missed the second half as I expected it to be a foregone conclusion.I blame Mancini,Kidd and the moonheaded twat for constantly fucking the tactics & line up away from home rather than the ref who was probably under orders anyway

Tend to agree PPLF.....our tactics away from home - overall this season has been the reason why we aren't 7-10 points clear at this moment in time.
LET'S FACE IT:
Sunderland
WBA
Stoke
Swansea
Just four teams we've played recently and got 2 points instead of 12. If we got 2 wins/a loss/and a draw....we'd be 4 points ahead now...regardless of last night's result. All in our hands and the derby to play for.....but all of those games....Mancini got the team selection woefully wrong - we see that, why can't that fat cunt who loves the media interviews? What the fuck does he do?
Funny how he has taken a forward step this season - and Kidd a backward step.....would like to see and hear more from Kidd and not that useless twat.

Who was the fourth official at tyhe3 swamp yesterday? Maybe Oliver twist was under orders and will now be commended by the refs association for towing the line

Re: Michael Oliver The New Howard Webb!
Not really an excuse is it fella, the whole of the footballing world agrees it was a rank bad decision.
As i never saw the game i can't comment on Barrys tackle, but i think you'll find we all tend to agree Barrys tackles are on a par with Master Scholes .

there are "rank bad decisons" every week, but when its United who get them boy does it upset a FEW people.

Re: Michael Oliver The New Howard Webb!
onh i think the difference between barry's tackle and the penalty were quite obvious, barry's tackle was over in the blink of an eye, the ref was a fair distance away from it and the assistant closest could not see it because whelan had his back to the assistant. Also the commentary team on first viewing thought Barry's challenge was fair it was only after the slow motion replay that showed it was a bad tackle and should have been a penalty. The ref was perfectly placed for the penalty decision in the utd fulham match..
