Unbelievable Empty Unbelievable

Post by ManCityMan Tue May 08, 2012 1:46 pm

Several weeks ago when the rags were 8 points clear and we had been beaten by Swansea in the latest of a series of shit games we had played i did a terrible thing. Depressed by the apparent slump in form and the resurgence of the satanic horde my wife took advantage and suggested a 10 day break on a cruise from Rome around the Greek islands and Sicily, ok says me it looks like the titles gone down the pan anyway still second aint bad.Sad

Now we are one game away from history and i am going away on Friday morning No i will be stuck on a boat with droves of foreigners who will have no idea of the pain i will be in affraid i can only hope that we are on land somewhere when the QPR game is on, i'm sure the Greeks will be showing it on a TV somewhere, fortunately my daughter and son-in-law decided to tag along so i can fob her indoors off to browse the shops with the daughter and i'll drag the son-in-law into a bar with a TV drunken . No sense copping all the flack myself, anyway he's Welsh and prefers rugby so he deserves it.Razz

I know you may find this hard to believe but a lot of cruise ships do actually have satellite tv or internet access and, failing all that, there's always the radio - you can be feeling the same all through the game MCM ;-)

Last cruise ship I was on did not show PL games in the so called sports bar. Still not the same as sitting with a few mates enjoying the game.

Got to agree there MCM but it's not something that's ever going to bother me - I may well get sea-sick if I have to read anything more to do with ships - let alone go on a cruise !! No

I'm off to my sisters wedding tomorrow ( thankfully the whole family are blue, as are the grooms!) back up North, but coming back Sunday lunchtime and get back to London at 3pm, so will be dragging suitcase and toddler back home as quick as possible to hopefully catch the 2nd half, going to be a nervy taxi ride home checking the score constantly.....

last sunday i was visiting a mate (armchair manure fan) near london following the birth of his first child.

i pull out the laptop to watch the match on my skyplayer and he tells me there is no wifi at his place. i had to go through the agony of watching bbc text on my phone whilst his wife looked on disapprovingly.

the things we do eh.
