And well done to them both as well. Especially in Vinny's case, after that despicable sending off in the FA Cup for a perfectly sound challenge and the way he's handled himself like a complete professional. These things clearly do balance out in the end.

Vinny is the best centre back in the league, if not Europe. Captain fantastic, speaks 6 languages, and a thoroughly decent bloke.
All for just £6 million quid! Chuck in Joe for £600,000 and you can see how we've 'bought' the league.
Anyway, as VK would no doubt say, forget the individual award it's about getting his hands on, and lifting aloft, that trophy on Sunday.
