new tv money record for city
for each place higher that you finish in the league, you get £755k. For each televised match in the epl, you get about £570K.
Lats season we raked in £60.6M which is a new record and £5M better than the season before.
Obviously, we need to maintain and increase this income if we can.

Re: new tv money record for city
Not sure when the clubs receive this money, but if it's after the season is over - £194m losses last season will become fairly insignificant with this kind of payment being made - and add the £400m naming rights to the club, player sales, increase in ticket sales, promotional items, overseas tours during the summer to Asia.....blah d blah........we may even post a profit next season!!!
No wonder Khaldoon is so relaxed about the whole FFP issue.

bluey, we got £55M last season from tv rights and still made a huge loss.
getting knocked out so early on the FA cup will mean us losing quite a bit of money considering the winners get £1.8M as well as all the tv rights during the rounds and gate receipts etc.
a decent FA cup run has got to be worth in the region of £5M

Fair enough - but what you are talking about there is £6.8m......hardly a significant deficit?
Our winning the tv rights this season off-sets the loss of the cup run.
