Hart 8 Best game for a while
Zab 9 serious MOTM contender
Klingon 6 missed 2 glorious chances, was at fault for Berbatovs chances and he's poor with a ball at his feet
Kompany 8 should be club captain for years to come
Kolorov 6 luckily utd never attacked him but 6 is very good for him
Barry 8 never stopped running, great shift
De Jong 8 usual top class performance
Silva 7 busy but passing not up to usual high standard
Johnson 7 couple of good runs, worked hard but still get the impression he's better off the bench
Yaya 9 immense, even managed to run after the 70th minute
Minge ( downgraded from cunt) 8 best game in a city shirt by a distance
It will all have been for nothing if we lose the final but with tevez and Richards back in the squad we should be ok

You wanna park away from the ground. Somewhere round Watford. Go to the pubs there you wont get ripped off & it's a bit more pleasant
Then make your way by tube or train to the ground

Re: Player ratings
Thought Kolarov was a bit gash but that didn't suprise me, good committed performances from the others, particularily in the second half.
Balotelli looked like he had his head in the game, and added a bit of spice to the celebrations at the final whistle. Just worried his attitude could completely reverse in our next match and he reverts back to being a liability - let's hope not!
Great result City, hope the players show the level of hunger and commitment that they did for the first half hour of the second half in every game till the end of the season and beyond.

Thought Silva was slightly better than a 7 myself.

Re: Player ratings
Nice to see Pablo getting acknowledged up there.
100% committed, never rocks the boat - and I think he loves it at City too. Often overlooked & underrated. Not by me, he's a top bloke.
I also think Kolarov did okay. He struggled in the 1st half, as did the rest of the team, but he got a grip in the 2nd, did really well.

Re: Player ratings
Silva only 7! are you mad, he was running at everyone from start to end, he was doing balotelli job as well! Right about Lescott though, missed teo itter and was nervy at the back, been saying this all season, he can't handle decent teams...
Hart 9
Zab 9
Lescott 5
Kompany 8
Kolorov 7 One of his better games I thought, he was more alert.
Barry 8
De Jong 9
Silva 9
Johnson 7
Yaya 9
Balo 7 Still didn't run as much as he should have, when he put the defenders under pressure they made mistakes, he needs t0 understand that! Silva was doing his job.

Re: Player ratings
Totally without bias or agenda would award everyone 8 out of 10 as they all contributed with Kompany and Hart getting 9 for the little bit extra.

Re: Player ratings
Hart 9 - One of his best games for a while. Kept Berbaflop out & a great save near the end from Balo's deflection
Zab 9 - Superb battling performance. I'd play him every week
Lescott 7 - Bad 1st 30 mins but very good in the 2nd half
Kompany 9 - What a great player. Don't think he put a foot wrong
Kolorov 7 - Definitely one of his better games. Was very worried when i saw his name on the team sheet but didn't get embarrassed by Nani or anyone else for that matter
Barry 8 - Had a great game. Controlled the MF along with Yaya & Nige
De Jong 9 - is a God. Can't say anything more.
Silva 8 - He is a fabulous player. Caused a lot of problems for the rags
Johnson 7 - Still not convinced he is a 90 minute player but give us a better attacking balance
Yaya 9 - His best performance by far. Why can't he do this every week
Balo 8 - A lot better than I thought he would be. I gave him an extra mark for winding up wobbly lip !
Sweep 7 - Did well for the short time he was on
Vieira 7 - He is a good man to bring on for 20-30 mins. Maybe give him another season or put him on the coaching staff
Zab 9 - Superb battling performance. I'd play him every week

Re: Player ratings
I'm giving every single player a 10. How could you rate Silva a 7. Even the commentators over here (Martin Tyler) rated Silva for his performance. I think Kolarov will come good.
As for Vinnie - he gets an 11 - first for that shot on goal and second for that run he made. He was an inspirational Kapitan!!!!!
YaYa ran himself into the ground. No more bad mouthing the bloke - he didn't play in this position at Barca - he did Carrick and Vidic's head in.
Vunderbar!!!!!!!!!
Think MeltonBlue has the best Avatar - 10 out of 10.

Re: Player ratings
I've badmouthed Toure a lot this season, mainly due to his poor fitness. I think if he can up his fitness and still have energy when the final whistle goes, he could be one of the best players in the League in his position. However I just don't see it happening, if he couldn't get fit playing twice a week not long back, then I don't see him gaining an extra yard over summer. It has also annoyed me that he is never subbed off, when at times, he has clearly needed it!
Garth Crookes put him in his team of the week anyway and had this to say:
"Without Carlos Tevez, Yaya Toure must be City's most consistent and valued player. No fuss, utterly dependable and never chokes on the big occasion."
Don't agree with that one bit, Kompany, De Jong and Silva are the spine of our team.
Also in regard to Zaba, anyone else seen that stat today that we have conceded on average 1.5 goals per game he hasn't played, compared to 0.6 with him? He may not be the fastest player, but you cannot fault his commitment one bit.

Re: Player ratings
Garth crooks is a bit of a cock though isn't he?
Yaya with his hands on his knees gasping for breath because he's so unfit or walking back up the pitch instead of running back to help out are what many of us think of as regards to him. When he plays well he's awesome but to be fair in a whole season it's not been too often wheras kompany de Jong and silva you know what your getting before they set foot on the pitch.
Kompany should be made club captain now,if we win the cup I'd much rather he was raising the trophy than someone who has no love for the club

Re: Player ratings
Garth Crooks is a patronising twat, i'm not one for women presenting sport on the telly but the way he talks to Gabby Logan on final score is like watching David Brent in The Office, talking to his fellow pundits like they are 4 year olds, and always touching their legs. And he played for the Scum, albeit on loan.
