getting into pot 1 for CL seeding

we are currently a lowly 28th in the coefficient rankings, though this is a great improvement on the previous season.

just for getting to the CL group stages should get us 20,000 points (last season's european run got us 20,025 points).

If we get through the group stages, we should jump by at least 10 places in the coefficient table. to get us in the top 8, we'd need to get very close to winning the competition or win most of our group games.

Some say it isn't important and we'll take on anyone, but if you have a very tough group, either the league or the CL suffers, if not both.

We are better off being seeded in the CL and, hopefully, we'd have an easier passage through the group stages.

I don't think we will make it into pot 1 next year. I think we will just miss out but we will definately make it the year after...

unless we get to the 1/4s at least, we may not make it for the next 3 years because we have one other very bad year to lose (2 seasons back)
