New TV deal for Premier League football will bring around 70% more money in, thanks to us!:
League Chief executive Richard Scudamore said the thrilling climax to last season, when Manchester City won the title in injury time on the last day, contributed to the increase.
"We have just come off the back of a fantastic season and it has been good for us," Scudamore said.
"We went to the market at the right time.
"It was a very competitive process which if you are selling is a very good thing."
Starts in 2012/13, so got to make sure we win it next year too, but even if we're up there, the increase is just plenty more money in to see of FFP concerns.
Just seen the last day antics again on News at Ten - more great publicity.
Sky should be kissing our proverbial for what we've done for them!

all the other league clubs should be kissing our proverbial...
we are talking of a 70% increase in tv money starting from 2013. that should be worth about £40M to city
