why do people leave so early?

went to the friendly against latics last night and was staggered by how many people left early.

the fella next to me left with over 20 minutes to go. i thought he'd gone for a piss or something, but he never came back.

10 minutes to go and hundreds were walking to/through the car park.

so the match wasn't up to much, but i was very surprised by the early bath brigade.

well, at least they missed the last minute winner...

I don't get that either. With our occasional history of banging in late winners, you'd think people would hold back and wait. I went to the front with a couple of minutes to go, so I could avoid crossing people on the stairs, but was staggered that so many left.
