city vs swansea - we were lucky again
woeful defending at times, shite long passes, no desire in first half. keep playing like this and we will make the top 4 - just

Re: city vs swansea - we were lucky again
The TV 'experts' reckoned that we improved after Balo came on and that he made the difference! I disagree, i think that they did improve a bit 2nd half after the manager probably put a rocket up them at half time but due to Balo? i don't think so.
What's wrong with Silva?
The passing was too slow and the movement off the ball was lazy and lethargic. They need to play higher up the park and up the tempo a bit. Every team we have played in the last few games have played like they want to win and our lot play like they can't be arsed.
We can't keep relying on Joe to pull off worls class saves to keep us in games, he did it again when Michu broke free on Saturday when we probably deserved to lose a goal.

Well, if they were tired 1st half, they sure will have been after the 2nd! with the longest Prem game in history!!
Missing Silva (injured) Milner (suspended) thankfully Mario looked as if he'd had a few rockets left over from last year and had a good run, Tevez got the team going again by doing his Tazmanian devil impression.
I just hope Vinny takes on board what he's doing, stops wandering, and starts keeping it tight at the back!

Re: city vs swansea - we were lucky again
I can't help but think our lads are playing like they've got it in the bag before they start. If that's the case, I want them to be less arrogant because I object to forking out to watch that sort of display: I make the effort to fund a season ticket and I make the effort to attend every game, even if it's snowing or throwing it down or just a bastard freezing tuesday night, the least I expect is the same level of commitment on the field.
I've watched plenty of games in the past where we were awful, but at least awful was as good as we could be. We can be so much more now and yet we're playing with the sort of conviction I thought we'd banished when Alan Ball did us a favour and left. We need to pack that in, or we won't be winning anything else this season.
