Let's see how he does next year with Tixi in, and a new run in the Champs League. I know the majority will disagree with me, and I am perplexed and baffled by his choices but he has brought us two trophy's in two seasons. I think he deserves a shot.

But joe, having won 3 trophies in the last 2 seasons, that will be seen as a step backwards by the big cheeses. That will not be tolerated i'm afraid mate.

I think there's been a plan in action since the 2 barca guys arrived, Like a game of chess, our owners will have key figures in place, ready for eventuality.

However, if Maureen doesn't want to go back, that might even leave us open to 2 potential "Top, Top" managers vying for the managers seat at City!

I know this is all hypothetical at the moment, but whenever we've had a set back, we have bounced back, post Arsenal for instance, now, we all know how gutting the defeat was, but it's not like we got trounced, so a little re-jigg to the starting line up, and we will be purring again (hopefully) and breathing down UTD's neck ....

I just think they last thing we need right now is to get rid of another manager. We finally have a bit of stability at the club, it seems a good team of coaching staff (bar Platt) and an amazing football development program. I think we need to keep it this way and build on that.

I honestly believe that Sunday was Balotelli's last chance, and he will start with our strongest side! If he does and we win the league or cup then he definitely deserves another season in my eyes.

If he doesn't and we play a ridiculous side of Newcastle and lose then I'll be the first one calling for his head as it will show he just isn't learning from a big mistake that was made on Sunday.

Look, I am not saying it's what I WOULD WANT, just what I expect.

I am all for stability, as you lot know, I even wanted to keep Agent Hughes, just for the fact I hate the chopping and changing.

I agree with giving him another season, I really do, I just expect the higher order have other ideas.

I don't think we've seen anything from the owners yet that would suggest that. They got rid of Hughes (looking back now that was the best thing they've done so far), but that was because they wanted Mancini.

Another season at least I think. Let's see how he does next year.
