Hooray! About bloody time they actually won a game they were winning, they're better than City ever were at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Seriously. I read their exploits in the Tameside Advertiser and it's always, "Hyde were in front with five minutes to go, then conceded two late goals to lose the game". If they'd won all the matches they were winning with minutes left, they'd have picked up 26 more points and would be relatively safe.

Still, they're doing better than Droylsden!

Jeff Stelling was wearing a Hyde scarf at the weekend on Soccer Saturday, in the hope it inspired them to victory. I bet he's gutted they won in midweek and not while he's presenting....i'm sure he'll have something to say about it this weekend
