Balotelli accepts Fine
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/8342501/Mario-Balotelli-has-resolved-his-dispute-with-Manchester-City
Mario Balotelli has accepted a two-week fine and dropped his appeal against Manchester City, the Premier League club has confirmed.
City are understood to have fined the Italian striker two weeks' wages - a figure reported to be around £340,000 - for his lack of discipline on the field last season.
The 22-year-old was unhappy with the penalty and his lawyers were due to appear at a Premier League tribunal on Wednesday to appeal against the sanctions.
However, the issue has been resolved without the need for tribunal and the club are now keen to move on from the affair.
A brief statement from City read: "After amicable talks between the parties, as a sign of respect for Roberto Mancini, the supporters and the club, Mario Balotelli has chosen to accept a two week fine levied upon him by the club and withdraw his disciplinary appeal.
"Mario remains available for selection for all forthcoming fixtures."

Still can't stand him and still don't want him back in the side.

Agreed Vince, i too sincerely hope not.
This is an ideal game to score a few goals and get our "goals for" column back above the dirty Rags.......plus, i've got Tevez as my FF captain this week . Putting numbnuts back in the team could seriously jepordise this.

No, he won't start, "he's been struggling with a virus" is the official line, which is a one size fits all excuse for he's not bloody playing!

Can't see him play on Saturday.....don't think Mancini can sink to that level of stupidity.....could he?

Re: Balotelli accepts Fine
But surely the boss can see that Balotelli on the team sheet equals dismal performance and possible beating, can't he?? We can all see it, so why can't he? Maybe it's not being able to see the wood for the trees, but even so...

Yeah, Mancini sees him as a project and is too stubborn to admit failure on this.
He'll play again over Christmas.

Probably, although he was quick enough to get shot of Boateng when he didn't work out. Maybe it's because Balo was dismissed by Mourinho as "untameable" that Bob thought he could get one over on the Special One.
Give it up, Bobby, he was right and you know it.
