No. Holt didn't score 13 league goals in half a season. Plus he's a lot older.
For five million, he'd not be a major expense. Plus if he scores twice for us, he'll be twice as effective as Balotelli. Oh, wait, I've used that line already today...

If you look at his stats from his previous seasons, they're not that great at all. I'm surprised he even cost £2mil.
We could probably get Darren Bent for £7-8mil.
But, before we even think about another striker we need to offload at least one. No prizes for guessing who is first choice.

True, and Bent is a proven goalscorer who is normally not far off the pace for the golden boot. Plus, if we own him, he can't score the winner against us any more.
And yes, we need to get shot of a striker to accommodate a new one, that's pretty much a given.

It's the Roqa Santa 'Lose' phenomenom again plays a great season we sogn him and discover he's a complete waste of money and we end up stuck with him for about 2 seasons.
