Who to replace Mario???
Looks like he's going soon so who can fill his infamous boots???
Can't believe we'll go forwards with just 3 strikers.
Cavanni - Napoli asking for silly money
Falcao - looks like he wants to play in Paris
Higuan - add to our Argentinians?
Torres - you must be fucking joking
NEYMAR - why not???

I think Guidetti can fill his boots.
Neymar will want to stay in Brazil until about 22/23 I reckon.

Re: Who to replace Mario???
Cavanni - mobile, great goal scorer and physical - agree...daft money
Falcao - looks like he wants to play in Paris - agree
Higuan - never been a fan, looks lazy.
Torres - if he was offered for £10m....i'd go for him. Honestly!
NEYMAR - going nowhere until after the world cup.
For me, Guidetti needs games, but would no doubt be happy as a sub after the last 6 months.....get him game time and lets see.
TBF.....I would have liked Sturridge back at that price.....but its the same old same....its coming towards the end of the window...and now it looks like Mancini may let Balo go......unless he has somebody lined up....no time again to sign anyone.
Also....who out of the top strikers in the world are going to move in Jan?

Re: Who to replace Mario???
No striker will go cheap unless near the end of their contract. Can't think of anyone decent that fits the bill.
Guidetti has been injured for 9 months so needs several weeks/months to get back to where he was last season and we can't wait that long.
Lambert it is then!!!

Re: Who to replace Mario???
I honestly think getting Mario out will do wonders for the players we've got. We play 100% better when he is nowhere near the team.
I say stick with the main 3 and give Guidetti some games.
We then take stock in the summer, when we will know if Bobby is going to continue or not.
With all this back stage back stabbing going on by the super hypocritical Rags with Fair Play for the Prem we need to start saving some cash. I mean they can't beat us on the pitch so lets be a cry baby and do it off the pitch.

Guidetti scored for the reserves within a few minutes so he may have had health problems but still got it

Re: Who to replace Mario???
They were talking of Guidetti going out on loan again to get games, but if they let Mario go, maybe he'll stay, get sharp and get some games?

Guidetti hasn't played for 9 months or so. No way will they let him be 4th striker if nobhead is sold

Re: Who to replace Mario???
Looks like Monday is D-Day for Mario, apparently £31m is the sticking point, but I'm sure that's just posturing and we'll go down a few million to get rid and still have a little profit.
So if he is off, it surely isn't Mancini doing it for humanitarian reasons, and Mario's mental state, there must be someone were after to fill his boots, and we must be fairly confident of signing someone if he leaves on Monday ......

Don't think we need another striker, much rather spend the money on some pace and width to give us a plan B option which I don't feel we have

Re: Who to replace Mario???
Have to disagree PPLF. We are going for the title and need a 4th striker just in case.
An injury and a suspension means we would be down to just one striker which isn't enough.

Re: Who to replace Mario???
We should be able to rotate 3 strikers with Guidetti as a back up,especially as we have no European involvement

Re: Who to replace Mario???
Guidetti doesn't look fit enough yet. If he'd started the season fit, then maybe he would have been ok as 4th choice.

Re: Who to replace Mario???
I'd rather Guidetti got game time with the reserves than sat on the bench after being out for so long. IMO we need to bring in one more striker and remember Tevez is not renewing his contract either so he will only be around until the end of next season by which time a new striker will be bedded in.

Re: Who to replace Mario???
Nobody according to his agent..."he's going nowhere in January"
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/8421068/-Zero-chance-of-Mario-Balotelli-leaving-Manchester-City-this-month-says-his-agent
One other piece of info....if he leaves and we were to buy a replacement, that purchase goes towards the FFP...as Mario was bought before last season. Odd??
