Who should we get to replace Tevez?

Assuming we get 50 million or so for him,who should we go after to replace him or should we change tactics and look for a top class winger to feed Edin and love garden?

I doubt we will get anywhere near 50m, although he is more than worth it considering other transfers.

Personally, i'd like to see Aguero, but i think he will end up at Madrid, unless they fancy Carlos?

Ive heard Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Bellamy and Jo are available for a nominal fee

If furburger lived up to his hype then we wouldn't need a replacement but as I can't see that happening I'd go for Aguero.

Proven Prem goalscorer who imo will still do the business given the chance, he's English and is still pretty young.

We don't need another foreigner (who needs to adjust to the League) up top partnering Balo or Dzeko at this stage.

Defoe never got the run of games all strikers need last year from wobble chops.
Would score goals beyond question,but would we have to pay silly money or maybe a swap with adebeyor who Arry has been linked with?

I said Defoe ages ago mate for all the reasons you said but not many seemed excited by the idea, however I think we will see the best of Dzeko next season so maybe we dont need anyone.

I just don't think we should be going into the season with 2 out and out strikers, especially as those 2 haven't really shone yet. It would be a big gamble by RM to do that imo.

A swap with Ade sounds good to me mate and it could be one all parties may be happy with. Getting any decent striker nowadays costs money, especially any coming to City now.

No one got any faith that Balotelli will step up to the plate? I think he could thrive off having a lead role, similar to Tevez, he did manage 6 PL goals last season despite being "shit", if he can times that by three next season I'd be happy.

Realistically I think we'll get 30-40m for Tevez. Still think we need a creative mid, an old head, and possibly another CB, even if we sign Savic, as the lads only 20.

Perhaps we could offload "The cunt" to AC in a player + Cash deal 20 mill and Pato or sell him for 40 mill and buy Pato and Huntelar!

The board seem to be relaxed about the whole saga.......we are in the driving seat - its over to Kia to find a club that will pay him his salary and pay £40m+............why should we bother looking for a club??

If we get the money............i'd like Defoe, but got a bit of slating a few months ago for mentioning him. We could get him for £12 - 15m.

How many more £25m + strikers do we need? If we are to believe Mancini, Dzeko and Balotelli will come good - so why another big name? More bench-warming for those 2 if we sign an Aguero etc.

For me, I'd sign Drogba for £8m and get another 2 years out of him and let Balotelli and Dzeko learn from him - both being big lads.
