So we're at home for the next round, against Leeds thanks to their defeat of Spurs earlier on. Not sure if that's a great draw for us, really.

United at home to Reading, should be a comfortable win for the rags.

And Oldham at home again to the blue dippers. Can they knock out even more scousers and make a quarter final place?

Good weekend for the City connected ! Dickov's Oldham, Rossler's Brentford, all going toe to toe with Prem teams.
Glad we haven't drawn Oldham, they look like a real set of bruisers!

That is a decent enough draw for us. Lower league opposition and we are at home.

Strong side please Bobby especially as at least 2 lower league sides will get through to the 6th round.

Great draw, should be no problems there. As Dawg says, strong side again please.

Good draw for Oldham too, although i can't see them doing it again though.

No, me neither. I can't see Gollum's team faffing about playing the ball out of defence needing at least one goal when there's four minutes left to go.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate teams who play football rather than hoofing it up the park, but really, sometimes you've just got to say "stuff this" and hump the ball into the penalty area. Rodgers clearly dislikes this approach. Gollum won't have such reservations.

For a Premier League team with Champions League ambitions, if we can't beat dirty Leeds at home then i personally will be very disappointed ....actually livid. Mad

I want us to have a run in this cup this season. I don't count getting punted out in the last 16 as a run, it's only three games.

I want Reading to get at least as far as the next round as well.

Only the rags have managed to beat us this season courtesy of a deflected free kick. I really cannot see a full strength, or near to it as possible, City side losing at home to Leeds. I know I'm tempting fate but can you?
